NASA EPSCoR Funding Available

New Mexico may submit two research proposals for up to $750,000 each for a three-year performance period.  Up to one proposal per state will be funded.  20 states are eligible to apply, 7-10 proposals will be funded nationwide.

If you are interested in submitting a proposal, please submit a pre-proposal, no more than 2 pages, by midnight, January 22 nd . Once we have received the pre-proposals the NASA EPSCoR Technical Advisory Committee will determine which proposals to move forward.

Pre-proposal elements include:

  • Research title
  • Program description
  • NASA research priority
  • List of collaborators (please be aware you must include NASA collaborators)
  • How the proposal will seek follow-on funding

Due dates are:

  • Pre-proposal due midnight January 22nd to pahynes@nmsu.edu
  • Full proposal including university certification due midnight March 7 to pahynes@nmsu.edu

The purpose of NASA EPSCoR is to establish research programs that will make significant contributions to the strategic research and technology priorities of one ore more of the four NASA Mission Directorates and/or one or more of the ten NASA Field Centers, and contribute to the overall research infrastructure, science and technology capabilities, higher education, and economic development of New Mexico .
