The NM EPSCoR Nanotechnology effort is built upon a solid foundation of collaboration and research (funded by our previous NSF EPSCoR award). The NM EPSCoR Nanotechnology component is dedicated to establishing a critical mass of nationally recognized and competitive researchers in New Mexico.

Our main goal is to put New Mexico in a position to successfully compete in large-scale R&D grant opportunities from federal and/or private sources. The NM EPSCoR will help to support existing nano-characterization instrumentation, establish new facilities, foster interactions between (present and future) faculty and staff among New Mexico institutions and promote community involvement.
