Dr. Selena Connealy is the Associate Director for the New Mexico EPSCoR State Office. In that role, she supports the NSF-funded RIO-NM E-CORE project which aims to positively impact New Mexico’s research ecosystem by 1) investing in higher education institutions to build cyberinfrastructure capacity and to strengthen research pathways, and 2) nurturing connections between and among ecosystem stakeholders across higher education, national laboratories, industry, non-profit organizations, and government. Dr. Connealy is the New Mexico lead for the NSF INCLUDES CIRCLES Alliance, promoting STEM education for Native students across six western states. For more than twenty five years, she has worked at the intersection of formal and informal education, supporting researchers, educators, and learners in New Mexico.

Dr. Chaitanya G. Mahajan is an assistant professor in the Industrial Engineering Department at New Mexico State University. His research interests include synthesizing new functional materials, designing print strategies for multi-material deposition, enhancing material properties in 3D-printed parts, and examining post-processing techniques to develop novel applications on flexible substrates using a wide range of additive printing techniques. He received his Ph.D. in Engineering and an M.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology, NY. He has served as Principal Investigator (PI) and co-PI on multiple National Science Foundation (NSF) research grants related to additive manufacturing.
