TechFest is an annual conference hosted by NM Tech Talks. TechFest brings together tech organizations to host various tracks under one, unified conference. This two-day conference will span tracks on Software, Artificial Intelligence, Climate & Advanced Energy, Entrepreneurship, and Tech Accessibility. TechFest 2026 will span the Innovation District in Downtown Albuquerque, NM. This will spear-head a collaborative tech ecosystem in New Mexico. As with all NM Tech Talks events, this conference is free and open to the public.

Earlier this month, more than 30 New Mexico EPSCoRians flew to New Orleans for the 2026 NSF EPSCoR Summit, held May 19–22. This year’s conference welcomed more than 600 participants and was organized by the American Association for the Advancement of Science.New Mexico had a strong presence at the 2026 EPSCoR Summit in New Orleans—showing up not only as attendees but also as facilitators, speakers, moderators, and poster presenters.
